Does love have a limit?
Well, I like to separate "love" into two: fake and genuine.
In the fake one, absolutely yes.
For the animals, the degenerates, that's an implicit condition.
For them, love is a mere desire to enjoy an object.
That is the goal, and the limit.
Once the goal is reached, the desire, and thus the "love", goes away.
I was told some even end up hating each other.
That's why I call it fake.
On the other hand, there is genuine Love.
Genuine, really, is just a nice word; it actually is naive, silly, stupid Love.
A good characteristic of the noble, refined and virtuous hearts.
In this one, Love is not generated by desire, but reason.
Love has the simple goal of two becoming one: the merging of two spirits.
Because this can only take place on a spiritual level, we use the sights, the hearing, the imagination.
Yet, we are silly, stupid, crazy: this is not enough.
We smell each other's heartbeats; taste each other's smell; listen to each other's touch.
There's the erotic, the intensity, the climax, the glance into each other's eyes.
We want to become one.
Physically.
In reality.
At each moment.
Well, God was smart enough to never let that happen, not physically.
Your goal can never be reached.
Your desire is never stopped.
You can never settle down after achieving something - you always want more.
You are never satisfied.
You have extreme cold, and intense heat.
You are crying, then laughing, then crying and laughing.
You see without eyes; hear without ears; yell without mouth; fly without wings.
Genuine Love has no limits.
Genuine Love is always reciprocal - it is impossible to be faked.
Genuine Love sets you free.
