To have a star
That sees my self
That maps the map
My golden treasures
Slowly
They are found
They are watched.
Beyond defects
My saddening scars
My flawed eyes
My jumbled wings
My trembling beak
They all seem
Conditions of flight
Like the winds
Like the storms,
With time,
Easily overcome.
How could I not believe?
How could I be afraid?
How could I fear anything?
All the given light
I see the reflections of my strength
I feel each muscle, each vein
The heart pumping
Ready for any world it may bring.
