The map I was given
The world really
Is a wide leathered cloth
Single color
Rough edges
Homogenous
Leather is leather
Everywhere
Why even walk?
Right above
Grabbing the eyes
Grabbing the heart
The sheep in the clouds
The soft wool cloth.
For long, I stayed put
Eating trees
Becoming a giant
You could steal sheeps
With big long arms.
Then
Thrown from the sky
A meteor
A golden flying needle
Threads the rough leather,
Then goes up, goes down,
Ties the knot.
Tiny, the giant laughs.
But it soon grabs his eyes.
Lying in wool
Amazed
Ecstatic
Giant asks
Who are you?
I like you.
Looks like the sun shine.
They smile.
He goes on...
We now
Have a stitch
And I
Got a world
Shall we
Sew the wool
Shall we
Draw the world?
